Keeping with the yesteryear theme is Bionic Finger's "Inner Bimbo."
This New York quartet should be seeing spins at specialty radio with
college consideration as well. I love the Sleater-Kinney like style of
this all-girl band that, from a vocal standpoint, is a tad bit stronger
than Olympia's dream team. Spoken word meets Sonic Youth-style
melodies in a great core alt sound that has a crowd of fans just waiting
to be found! Fans of the poppy Go Sailor sunshine will certainly like
the sexiness of "Melting Ice," one of 13 delicious tunes where harmony
and attitude are far from lacking!
