It's difficult generalize about this band because its members interchange
instruments & lead vocals for practically every song. That being said, does
anyone remember Romeo Void? (Hint: I might like you better if we slept
together). Nan Turner, who penned and takes on the role of lead vocalist on
tracks "Sweaty," "A.S.S.H.O.L.E," "Big Dick," and "[Hotel] Bar Butter," has that same
kind of straightforward, "just do it to me now" sound. Tunes like "A.S.S.H.O.L.E."
would probably get Nan and her Bionic pals kicked off the cheerleading squad
immediately. If you're looking for something a little sweeter, tracks like
"Melting Ice" and "Come On" feature the more tuneful combination of Christine
Murray & Alina Moscovitz on vocals. In their bio, Bionic Finger liken themselves
to Courtney Love. Personally, I find them worlds above Love in originality and
cleverness. So c'mon, get in touch with your inner bimbo.
